The largest InfiniTube is also the most versatile in terms of compatible formats. The InfiniTube Special has an extra long rear tube length, resulting in the
ability to utilize many of the accessories from Infinity's Instrument Series optics. InfiniTube Special can be used with various C- or T2 (e.g., F-mount)
adapters.

InfiniTube Special systems can accommodate almost any camera or sensor used in microscopy from CS/C-mount to large format video, F-mount, 35mm SLR, M72—or
even 8x10 sheet film! Further, the InfiniTube Special Series is comprised of THREE models, each color-corrected and compatible with a specific manufacturer's
objectives:
- IMN – for Infinity's own Achrovid™, Mitutoyo and Nikon CFI60™ objectives (200mm)
- O – for Olympus UIS/UIS-2 (180mm)
- Z – for Zeiss ICS™ (160mm)
The fact that each microscope objective manufacturer utilizes a specific tube length has also been taken into account so that each InfiniTube Special type
provides ca.1x factor; a 5x objective provides 5x, etc., unless amplifiers are deliberately used to increase magnification.
