Configuring Infinity Instruments
When you select an Infinity instrument, you get benefits that go beyond "on
paper" performance statistics. Other brands cannot offer the convenience or
full-range operation of Infinity instruments. For example, a single InfiniVar™ CFM-2/S
can provide 0x to more than 320x continuous video magnification (1/2-in.
sensor with 13-in. monitor) without the use of any special rear tubes or front lenses.
It would take as many as four rear tubes and four accessory front lenses (used in
various combinations, one at a time) for a typical 6x Video Zoom microscope to achieve
that range. We cannot "strip" the InfiniVar CFM-2/S of its potentials
and sell various "pieces" at a time. Consequently, when you add up all
the extra components you do not have to buy from us and the downtime needed
to reconfigure competitive products, Infinity instruments are clearly the best values
of all. And, our new Proximity Series of application-specific lenses now
makes it possible to achieve image excellence at the lowest practical cost.
